  • Thyroid Patients
  • Patients eligible for Cervical Smear Tests
  • Cardiovascular Disease Patients
  • Over 75 Health Checks
  • Asthma and COPD patients

Other services offered by appointment

  • Ante natal clinic - Wednesday mornings
  • Cryotherapy - every 2 weeks on thursdays
  • Dietetic - 2nd Tuesday month
  • INR (Warfarin) - weekly
  • Minor Surgery - by appointment
  • New Patient Check - by appointment with nurse
  • Psychiatry – by appointment
  • Physiotherapy (NHS) - Arranged through the practice
  • Speech & Language – by appointment
  • Community Child Health Clinic - Run by the Health Visitor on second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 2.00pm-3.30pm

In addition, the doctors or nurse will be happy to give Health Promotion advice on the following during normal surgery times:

  • Anti-smoking
  • Alcohol Problems
  • Drug Problems
  • Dietary Advice
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Heart Disease Prevention
  • Anti-stress Advice
  • Parent Craft.

Fees may be charged for non-NHS examinations, e.g. “Fitness to Drive” examinations, private medical treatment, some insurance forms, in accordance with BMA recommendations.

Cancelling your Appointment

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone reception staff at the appropriate surgery. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Test Results

Please contact us in the afternoon, (medical mail comes in at lunchtime) at least 1 week after the test has been taken.
