We are a training practice so there may be other doctors attached to the practice at various times including the following:
- GP Registrar, (he/she is a qualified doctor gaining experience in general practice over a year),
- Foundation year doctor (qualified doctor attached to the practice for 4 months)
- Undergraduate medical students (usually attached to the practice for a month during their 5th year at university).
A notice will be displayed in the waiting room with details of student attachment and patients are advised that they need not have the student present if preferred.
Video recording of consultations is occasionally requested, purely for GP training purposes. The recordings are kept in a secure location and erased after a maximum of 6 months. Patients will always be informed in advance and can elect to have the camera switched off if preferred.
